Eastern Railway was formed on 14th April, 1952 by integration of the East Indian Railway consisting of Sealdah, Howrah, Asansol and Danapur Divisions and the entire Bengal Nagpur Railway. Later on, the portion of BNR stretching from Howrah to Visakhapatnam in the South.

ln view of CORONA pandemic (COVID-9), Malda Division, Eastern Railway, will engage Para Medical staff on contract basis temporarily. Candidates who satisfy the requisite qualification and age are requested to report with all certificates for walk-in-interview. Retired Para-Medical staff of Railway Hospital/State Govt. up to the age of 65 years is also eligible.

Age on 01.01.2020 : 20 to 35 years
Qualification : 10+2 in sciences or its equivalent with 02 years diploma in Pharmacy with registration in Pharmacy Council of India / State. Registration Should be valid.

Terms and conditions :
(1) Nature of engagement: Purely on contract basis for three months only from the date of engagement.
(2) Remuneration: Remuneration of fresh candidates will be paid in terms of PCPO/ER's Sl.No.73/2018 and in case of retired staff remuneration will be paid in terms of PCPO/ER's Sl.No.145/2017
Walk-in-interview will be held on 21.04.2020 at 11.hrs. at Divisional Railway Manager's office, Eastern Railway Malda, in the chamber of Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer, Maida. The willing candidates having prescribed qualification and age are advised to attend along with their all certificates/ testimonials/experience in original and self attested Xerox copy and three passport size photographs for "Walk in interview “on the scheduled date. Candidates are advised to report on the scheduled date by 10.00 A.M with duly filled up proforma application. Format of application will be available in Railway website and Sr.DPO/MLDT's office on the date of walk-in-interview.
